Every firm in this directory starts the same way: we find its public footprint, read what it claims, and check the claims we can check. This post walks through that process and its limits.

What we check from public sources

  • The firm's own site: services, specialties, and contact details.
  • Public records and review platforms, where they exist.
  • Whether the firm responds to inquiries through a working channel.

What we cannot verify from the outside

We do not place firms, we do not see their internal quality controls, and we do not handle their clients' data. A listing means "publicly active and reachable", not "recommended". Our methodology page separates what we verify from what we do not.

What changes a listing

If a firm's public details change, or its contact channel stops working, the listing changes with it. Corrections are welcome from firms and from practices: the directory gets better when the people using it tell us what is wrong.
